Hinduism over the ages, has seen so many reformers, and so many sects within itself crop up, some of whom are very close to Judaistic religions (Islam, Christianity and Judaism) in its basic tenets. Inspite of this there have not been clashes or murders (except for a brief period during the Medieval ages when Shaivites and Vaishnavities OR some stupid Hindu king had ordered killing of Buddhist monks) over these theosophies within the Hindu sects.

Hinduism, was not known as Hinduism during majority of this period as well. These were simply different philosophical schools of thought, which could co-exist simply because all these had a few basic tenets in common to them. These were:

- there are many ways to the same God
- we are all ONE (which is the essential Vedantic philosophy)

Islam and some orthodox Christian communities believe that their respective God/Allah is the only true God, and all other people pray to false Gods. While Hinduism, continually keeps saying that there is ONE GOD, Islamists see only the murtis of the various gods and goddesses. It is a different matter that Kabba was also once a temple with 365 deities in it, with a Black Stone as the primary worship point, which even Muhammad kissed and bowed to, after he broke all other statues of deities. These are contradictions which most Muslims are not even told of, just to prevent them from questioning.

As long as human minds are trained not to think on their own, and take orders from someone else – whether that is God, a Book or people of Islamist/Extremist/Terrorist mindset – Benazirs will continue to be bombed and suicide attacks will continue.

There is no doubt that part of this whole problem is USA, and in general the West mindset, which believes its culture to be superior to others, once again, just like the orthodox Christians and Islamists, continue to propagate separatism instead of ONEness of humanity.

We need a new religion, a religion, as you rightly said which holds “Humanism and Love” higher than any other “ism”, and a new definition of God. We also need a One World Government, if we have to get over cultural and nationalist arrogance of people and nations.

My parents are hindu but were born in hyderbad sindh
when pakistan was a state of India and it was all india.

My father loved pakistan but that was where he
was stripped of his family and his possessions then the seperation happened. So imagine a group of soldiers coming to your home and you have to run for your life.

India is India and pakistan is now it’s own entity and
has been since the partition way back God know’s when.
India is a place compiled of so many different tribes/sects and religions. India as always and will try to be it’s best to be neutral in all aspects of political unrest.
India has had it’s own unrest at one time and does not want to be a part of a world that is full of hate .

We have come to this and it is sad. So many have died in trying to promote peace how many more of those willing to sacrifice their own right to live life, help the world recognize peace, will die in the process
of starting something to bring us together.

Why are we fighting, ..for what ….a piece of land ?…
religion which man created? to prove what point? to say I am better than you and …for what purpose?
Whose land is it anywayz ?? Nobody’s name is written on any peice of land or stone before we got here.. When I die am I going to take it with me?????Come on humans wake up
nothing belongs to you nor me. We are here to have use of it temporarily so why not share it and take care of it?

Children are dying and suffering because of all this incapability to grow up and be human. Are we HUMAN?
There are times I am emabarressed to be human because of the evil I see humans are capable of performing.

As Bob Marley says in one of his famous lyrics. “How long are we going to kill our prophets while we stand aside and look?”
Why do we kill the good in front of us and welocme the bad…..WHY???

So Back to India. India has been invaded stripped of it’s riches .India has been in jeopardy…but you can go to India today and see how amazing a country it is.
Today India is a thriving economy after being conquered by so many . So how will all this affect MY country…..why dont we go into a meditaton and take it from there or why not go to one of the many temples and ring the bell for peace.
